Overview

The Onebed pillow certainly is a unique pillow on the Australian market. Designed to be adjustable in height, it’s a great pillow for all sleeping positions and provides excellent support for your neck and back.

The key selling point of the Onebed pillow is its adjustability. It’s easy to change the height of the pillow by adding or removing some of the fragmented memory foam, allowing you to create the perfect height for your neck and making it an incredibly supportive pillow. The downside is it can be a little bit of a messy/fiddly way to do it but once you get the filling just right, it’ll be worth the effort.

What Does it Feel Like to Sleep On?

As an adjustable pillow, everyone’s experience sleeping on the Onebed pillow will be different. To find the right height, I removed some foam until it felt good for me. I took out about one big handful to start, and found it was still too high. I took out a smaller handful and found this was just right. The memory foam fragments inside the pillow helped support my head and neck, and relieved the typical pressure I feel on a poor-quality pillow.. While it didn’t feel exactly like a feather pillow, I still thought it was a great pillow overall and I highly rate it as a good-quality yet budget-friendly pillow.

Construction

The Onebed pillow is designed to be simple and customizable. They used small pieces of memory foam that can be taken out or added in to adjust the height of the pillow. This way, you can make the pillow as high or short as you like, depending on how you sleep. The Onebed team chose to use this type of memory foam because it makes the pillow feel like a feather pillow but is more environmentally friendly. The memory foam also helps to relieve pressure and the small pieces allow for good airflow, which keeps you cool while you sleep.

Materials

The Onebed pillow is made from flexible shredded memory foam, which is eco-friendly and highly breathable. The Onebed pillow cover has two layers. The outside layer is made of soft microfibre fabric while the inside layer is made of a cooling fabric that helps you stay dry at night. You can remove the cover easily and wash it in the washing machine – ideally every 6 months to keep it fresh and clean.

Firmness

The Onebed pillow is a medium firmness, and the height/firmness can be adjusted based on your preference. The firmer the pillow the more support you’ll receive, but not everyone enjoys firm support, so you can easily make it softer by taking out some of the memory foam.

Loft/Height

The Onebed pillow is all about customization, allowing customers to adjust the height of their pillow to suit their personal preferences. With the option to add or remove layers of memory foam, you can easily customise the pillow’s height to achieve the perfect level of elevation for your head and neck.

Trial Period & Shipping

Onebed offers free delivery Australia wide. They do not offer any sort of trial period.

Onebed Pillow Vs Ecosa

It’s tough to say which pillow is better between Onebed and Ecosa. They’re both great online brands with a strong focus on quality and customer service. To decide which one is right for you, you need to think about what you need. If you want a pillow that you can adjust to get the right height or you’re taller than most people, the Onebed pillow is probably the best choice. But if you want a pillow that is ergonomically designed and you can change between being firm and soft, then the Ecosa pillow could be the one for you.

Final Verdict

If you’re a back or side sleeper who’s after excellent back and neck support, adjustable height and medium firmness pillow, you can’t go past the Onebed pillow.
