Why We Love the Newentor Hybrid:

If you’re on the hunt for a comfortable and affordable innerspring mattress, look no further than the Newentor Hybrid Mattress. It’s perfect for anyone on a budget or for outfitting a guest room. With 7 zone body support, you’ll feel supported all night long, while also keeping cool in the process thanks to its excellent temperature regulation features. A highly responsive mattress, you’ll find changing positions during the night a breeze, but this also means motion isolation isn’t as strong as a memory foam mattress (typical of a hybrid). With 120 nights to test out if the mattress is right for you, we’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Who’s Going to Love The Newentor Hybrid Mattress

  • You want excellent support: The 7 zone body support system offers exceptional support and pressure relief.
  • You want a cooling mattress: This hybrid mattress provides superior temperature regulation, keeping you cool and sweat-free throughout the night.
  • You’re looking for a budget buy: The Newentor Hybrid mattress is a budget-friendly yet high quality mattress making it great value for money.

Who Should Consider Alternatives To The Newentor Hybrid Mattress

  • You want side handles: The lack of side handles may make moving and adjusting the mattress challenging.
  • You need solid motion support: Being a hybrid mattress motion isolation isn’t as strong as on a memory foam mattress.

The Newentor Hybrid Mattress Firmness & Feel

With a 7.5 out of 10 firmness rating (with 10 being the firmest), the Newentor Hybrid mattress should suit most styles of sleepers. Side sleepers will enjoy the cradling and comfort of the top layer, while back and stomach sleepers will enjoy the 7-zone pocket spring support which offers decent spinal support and accommodates most body sizes.

Is Newentor Hybrid Mattress Good For Larger (100kg+) People?

There’s no clear answer on the Newentor website as to how much weight it holds, but considering the Newentor Hybrid is a firm mattress, heavier people (100kg+) should find the Newentor quite comfortable to sleep on, providing enough pressure relief and good spinal alignment.

Newentor Hybrid Mattress Construction

The Newentor Hybrid Mattress is a 7-layered mattress with each layer working together to provide a very comfortable night’s sleep.

The top cover layer is made up of a bamboo charcoal fabric that not only protects against bacteria but also regulates moisture and temperature. Beneath the fabric, you’ll find layers of comfy foams.

Next up is a layer of memory foam, followed by pressure-relieving high-elasticity foam, and more pressure-relieving high-elasticity foam with non-woven fabric.

Finally, we get to the 7-zone pocket spring system which is the primary support structure, with sturdier springs along the edges for enhanced edge support.

Underneath, there’s even more pressure-relieving high-elasticity foam with wear-resistant fabric beneath the springs. And, to prevent any sliding or movement, the mattress has an anti-slip bottom with a “grippy” backing material.

Is The Newentor Hybrid Mattress Cooling?

Newentor has incorporated advanced Gel-Memory foam technology into their mattresses, which offers numerous benefits, including superior temperature regulation. The Gel-Memory foam’s unique composition allows for enhanced airflow and heat dissipation, preventing the buildup of heat and moisture that can often cause discomfort and disturb your sleep.

How Is The Edge Support Of The Newentor Hybrid Mattress?

The firmer springs located along the edge of the mattress provide really strong edge support. However, the absence of side handles doesn’t go unnoticed. Not the worst thing in the world, but it does make manoeuvring the mattress a little more challenging.

How Is The Responsiveness Of The Newentor Hybrid Mattress?

The Newentor Hybrid Mattress responds seamlessly to typical sleep movements, making it highly responsive and adaptable to your needs. You shouldn’t experience any difficulties in changing sleep positions or engaging in intimate activities.

Motion Isolation: Is It Good For Those Who Share A Bed?

As someone who tosses and turns quite a bit, with a partner who is the same (plus a giant Labrador sharing the bed as well), I have to say motion isolation (or the lack of) was pretty noticeable. However, this is typical of an innerspring mattress and if you want next-level motion isolation, I’d recommend a memory foam mattress.

How Much Does The Newentor Hybrid Mattress Cost?

The Newentor Hybrid comes in at a great price point, retailing for $1,380 for a Queen. However, Newentor Hesperis also has an aggressive discount strategy, typically offering 50% or more discounts, so you can likely purchase it for less. As of writing, the Queen Newentor Hesperis is priced at $690 (50% off). For more pricing information on available sizes, refer to the table below.

Long Single$1,120

My Review After 30 Sleeps

Overall, the Newentor Hybrid offers good support and pressure relief. I found it easy to change positions from my side to front and back, and didn’t wake up sore in the morning. If you’re considering switching from memory foam to a hybrid, I’d definitely recommend giving the Newentor a try. With a 120 night trial to test if it’s right for you, you’ve got nothing to lose.

Final Verdict

As a budget friendly hybrid mattress, the Newentor Hybrid is certainly worth a try. With its combination of pocket springs and memory foam, the Newentor Hybrid provides good support, pressure relief, and temperature regulation, all at a great price point.
